Easy healthy smoothies | Vegan friendly

I am a huge fan of smoothies! I love coming up with new recipes to try and have at various times of the day so I have decided to share with you some of my favourite easy healthy smoothies. Whats even better is that they are all vegan friendly! There are smoothies to suit all tastes. Whether you like creamy, chocolate, protein packed, fruits or leafy green and antioxidant rich smoothies, there will be something for everyone! I hope you enjoy these delicious easy healthy smoothies and you may even find your own inspiration for your own smoothie recipes.

BANANA NUT PROTEIN BOOST

Perfect smoothie for after a workout to give you an energy kick as well as protein to fuel your muscles after a hard workout!

Ingredients:
1 banana
1 tsp peanut butter
1 egg (or 1 scoop vanilla protein powder) – You cannot taste the are egg!
Sprinkle of cinnamon 
1 cup almond milk or water – Almond milk with give it a creamier and slightly more nutty taste.

Blend together with a little ice for a nice cold smoothie! 

BLUEBERRY BLISS

This smoothie is a great wake-me-up to have before or with breakfast first thing in the morning!

Ingredients:
1/2 cup blueberries
1 Tbsp lite coconut yogurt or dairy free coconut yogurt 
1/2 banana
1/2 cup dairy free milk – Almond, coconut, soy, oat or rice
1/4 cup water

Blend with some ice and enjoy!

 

Lean and green

No smoothie is better for you that a smoothie packed full of leafy greens and fruits! This will leave you feeling cleansed and fresh.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup spinach
1 kiwi fruit
1/4 cup fresh pineapple
1 tsp chia seeds
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp fresh ginger
3/4 cup water

Blend together with ice and enjoy this refreshing lean and green smoothie!

Coconut Berry burst

This antioxidant packed smoothie is sure to be a favourite. Perfect any time of the day.

Ingredients:
1 cup mixed berries – Blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, blackberries, boysenberries
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 Tbsp shaved coconut
1/2 cup coconut almond milk
1/2 cup water
1 tsp chia seeds
1 tsp honey for sweeter taste (optional)

Blend with a little ice and enjoy!

Pineapple island

This one will make you feel like you’re sitting on a beach on a tropical island. Packed full of flavour and goodness!

Ingredients:
3/4 cup fresh pineapple
1/2 cup spinach
1 tsp fresh ginger
1 tsp shredded coconut
1/2 banana
1/2 cup coconut almond milk
1/2 cup water

Blend together with a little ice and enjoy this tropical island inspired power smoothie!

 

Choco banana

This one will be a favourite for chocolate lovers! The cacao powder can be substituted for chocolate protein powder for a protein boost!

Ingredients:
1 tsp cacao powder or 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
1 banana
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp shredded coconut (optional)
3/4 cup non dairy milk – almond, soy, rice, oat, coconut almond

Blend together with some ice and enjoy this rich chocolate flavoured smoothie!

Peachy perfect

This smoothie is packed full of fresh summer fruit flavours. Perfect on a hot summers day or as a wake me up in the morning!

Ingredients:

1 peach chopped
1/2cup strawberries 
1/2 tsp fresh ginger
1 cup spinach
3/4 cup almond milk or water if you prefer less milky flavour

Blend with a little ice and enjoy this fresh summer fruit smoothie!

Strawberry kiwi

The blend of strawberries and kiwi makes a delicious fresh smoothie that your sure to love!

Ingredients:
3/4 cup strawberries
1 kiwi fruit
1/2 cup kale 
1/2 tsp fresh ginger
1 tbsp shredded coconut
3/4 cup water

Blend with some ice and enjoy!

The green mango

This tasty cleansing smoothie is sure to be a favourite!

Ingredients:
3/4 cup chopped mango
1 tsp ginger
1/2 cup chopped pineapple
1/2 cup spinach
1/2 cup kale
1 tsp chia seeds
1/2 cup non dairy milk
1/2 cup water

Blend with a little ice and enjoy!

 

Pearing with peach

Anyone who likes pears will love with tasty sweet smoothie!

Ingredients:
1 pear chopped
1 peach chopped
1/2 banana
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp honey (optional)
3/4 cup almond milk

Blend with a little ice and enjoy this tasty wee treat!
